I pity the fool who seeks his joy in the things of this world.
As moth and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal;
the ‘mighty fortress’ that was his joy, crumbles to the ground.

But for the wise man who seeks his joy solely in the Lord;
He will be filled with blessing, all of his days.
A Mighty Fortress is our God.
