God-Mockery...

Who's gonna laugh at this blasphemy? Hopefully not Christians. This is shameful.

The following video is absolutely disturbing. It's a mockery of so many things, but the worse part is that it is a mockery of God, His standards, and the Christians who are trying to abide by them.

But this seems to be typical...Holly-weird will do anything they can to try and change the opinions of the people. I guess they think it's their job to water down truth.

Do some research on the lies that are told here. We'll be discussing this on our next broadcast.

I don`t consider it very funny, but I consider you very indoctrinated.
Here you are. It`s from wikipedia.
Please check every point of the definition and tell me one that you don`t respect. Hopfully you`ll get smarter soon and learn something useful not fairytales with talking snakes and women made from ribs. Thanks

Indoctrination is the process of inculcating ideas, attitudes, cognitive strategies or a professional methodology. It is often distinguished from education by the fact that the indoctrinated person is expected not to question or critically examine the doctrine they have learned

Dear Anonymous:

Thank you for taking the time to both visit our website and post your comments.

I’m glad that our taste in humor is some-what similar. I found the skit far from humorous and less than amusing. I did find it very interesting however. How is it that the group who demands ‘tolerance’ from others (regarding their lifestyle choices) can be so intolerant of those who hold an opposing view of morality and decency? Isn’t that a bit hypocritical; to demand tolerance through intolerant means? But I digress...

Now let’s get to the beef of your comments/statements/judgments on me and see if we can get a conversation going on this.

1. I consider you very indoctrinated.

Jason: Wow! In order to make a statement like this, then you must know me somehow. Your statement was not directed to a group of people, it was directed at me. I’d be interested in hearing how you know if I am very anything at all…and also I am wondering why I didn’t receive a birthday gift from “Anonymous” this year?

2. Now on your (well…Wikipedia’s) definition of Indoctrinated.

- Indoctrination is the process of inculcating ideas, attitudes, cognitive strategies or a professional methodology…

Jason: I do believe in doctrine. And I believe that it is important for humans to have some form of ABSOLUTE TRUTH beyond our subjective feelings or emotions to mold & shape our minds, lives and decisions. I also believe that the Bible is the absolute truth revealed to man by God…I believe this for several reasons, but probably most importantly and significantly because the scriptures have withstood the test of time. I am a Bible-literalist, meaning that I take what is written in the scripture to be 100% REAL. Not mythology or fairy-tales with good moral endings like the Cosby show…I believe that scripture is the God-breathed, inspired word of God given to man to use as a tool not only to find God but also to know exactly what he demands from us. (2 Tim. 3:16)

- It is often distinguished from education by the fact that the indoctrinated person is expected not to question or critically examine the doctrine they have learned...

Jason: This is where I would disagree with you on my status of being ‘indoctrinated’. If someone who is indoctrinated is expected NOT to question or critically examine the doctrine they have learned, then I can’t be categorized by this. I think scripture actually calls us to be the exact opposite of this. Everything should be examined to see if it is truth or not. Here’s an example from scripture of what I am talking about (Acts 17:11)

3. Hopefully you’ll get smarter soon and learn something useful not fairytales with talking snakes and women made from ribs.

Jason: While I do appreciate your concern for my educational well-being. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to consider spending your efforts on things that will last beyond this world. It is OK to be concerned with things that happen here and now, but the Bible reminds everyone that our real concern is for our eternal standing in the eyes of God. To you this very well may be a fairytale (1 Cor. 1:18-19) but I plead with you, whoever you are, to read the Bible; to taste and see the beauty and mercy of this book and the God who has given it to us.

Something Useful: Read Romans Chapter 1 and hear the Gospel; wrestle with it. Challenge your own indoctrination. Ask yourself the question…If this book is indeed true, where will God find me? Shaking a mocking fist at the truth He has so graciously given us, or humbled by the love His love revealed to us from heaven in His Son Jesus Christ. Dying on the cross for our sins, so that we might once again be in a rightful standing in his sight?
