A Letter From Hell

Josh,

Words cannot explain the conviction and guilt that I feel for neglecting my duties within the great commission to speak the gospel to you. Words are proving useless to capture the sorrow and dread that I feel for you at this moment.

If anything good comes of your dispatch to me, it would be my renewed vigilance for my friends’ salvation. Know that I will think of you often. And know that I will probably see you often too, but only in my nightmares.

I wish things could have been different for you. I really do. If I could go back in time I would. If I thought of then the things that I know of now, you would either be in Heaven or you would be blaming someone else for your sins today.

I will admit that I was wrong not to share Jesus Christ with you, but I will never admit that your placement in Hell is in anyway my fault. Since you are so eager now to hear of Jesus, let me share a quote by Him: “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)

I wish things could be different...
Zack

P.S. I too, wish you were here.

Good response Chris, and again a reminder that the scripture says:

"Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord"

Now let's go and spread the "Good News."
